I saw my first waterboys concert more than 4 years ago at Conegliano(Treviso)...do you remember?hope not...could you find a hole for a concert again in Conegliano or in Northeren Italy? So, I first heard the Waterboys through KEXP Live Performances Podcast from 7th December 2007, which makes me think they were around here at that point. When will they show up again on the West Coast? (Washington or Oregon state, British Columbia...)

The performance you refer to was recorded in November of 2007 when The Waterboys were visiting Seattle on their last American tour.
No plans to return at this time but when next it happens we'll announce it on this website as well as direct by email to members of the mailing list.

There's a song by Little Jackie which is getting a lot of airplay - including an appearance on Later with Jools Holland. It's called "The world should revolve around me". It contains an orchestral refrain which sounds very similar to that of Mike's "Love Anyway". Is it a sample or just co-incidence? |
